Refund policy
Try it free first. If you pay anyway and it was not right, tell us inside 14 days and you get your money back. Charges you did not mean to make are refunded in full, whenever we find them.
The name on your statement
Uplora does not take your money directly. Paddle is our merchant of record: the seller on the receipt, the party that charges the card, and the party that calculates, collects and remits the tax for your country. So the line on your statement reads — or if you paid with PayPal — and not the word Uplora. That is the charge you are looking for. Write to us before you dispute it with your bank: we can refund it today, and a dispute takes weeks and locks the workspace while it runs.
Try before you pay
Every workspace starts with a 7-day trial of the whole product — no card, no held-back features, an honest countdown.
Your first payment: 14 days
If your first payment on a workspace was a mistake — the product does not fit, you did not mean to subscribe, your channel went a different way — write to us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full. You do not have to justify it, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
Annual plans get 30 days instead of 14, because the amount is larger and so is the commitment.
Renewals
A monthly renewal is not automatically refundable — you had the month, and cancelling is two clicks on the billing page at any time before it. Two exceptions we honour without argument: a renewal that landed on a workspace you had already stopped using entirely, and a renewal you tried to cancel but could not because something in Uplora was broken. Both get refunded.
For an annual renewal, tell us within 30 days and we refund the unused whole months.
Charges we refund whenever we find them
- Duplicate charges — the same period billed twice, for any reason.
- Charges after a cancellation that had already gone through.
- Charges on a workspace that Uplora could not actually serve — an outage on our side long enough to matter, not a slow afternoon.
- Any charge caused by a bug in our billing code. If we billed you wrongly, finding it is our job, not yours; we refund it whether or not you noticed.
What cancelling does — and does not — do
Cancelling stops the next charge. It never deletes anything. The workspace becomes read-only at the end of the period you paid for: every master, comment, decision and setting stays viewable and exportable for as long as the account exists. Resubscribe and publishing switches back on where you stopped. Nothing about a refund request causes data to be removed.
How to ask
Email contact@uplora.io from the address on the account, and say which workspace. That is the whole process — there is no form and no queue to sit in.
We reply within two business days. We then ask Paddle to issue it: the money goes back to the card or account that paid, tax included, and usually appears within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We refund in the currency you were charged; if your bank moved the exchange rate between the charge and the refund, that difference is the bank's and we cannot recover it for you.
If we say no
We will tell you why, in plain words, in writing. Nothing here takes away a refund right your local consumer law gives you — where those rules are stronger than this page, they win.
Changes
Material changes are emailed to workspace owners before they take effect, and a payment is always judged by the policy in force on the day it was charged — never by a version written afterwards. See also the terms and the price list.
